Artist description our music is a conglomeration of, industrial, hip-hop, alternative rock, ambient, old skool r-n-b, pop, dance, new age, noise, pedestrian caucophany, caliope, the hacking sounds dogs make after eating a bunch of grass, tiffany, old ladies crying on buses, spinning toilet paper spindles, cold fusion, gregorian chant kareoke, snickering, the lost art of puritan guffaw, and just about anything else our ears have come in contact with in our lives. categorization is denied on all levels. so don't bother. we're not having it, and that's final, smackass. technically, we are a studio duo at the moment. we are in the process of recording and mixing trax as you read this. mesabi jones is creating music and doing vocals and mercedes is laying down vocals and writing lyrics and looking pretty damn sexy at the same time. however, plans are in the initial stages for shows in small venues, locally, in our western/central pa-eastern ohio region. check back for updates in this area. who knows what's in the future for smackass? who? no one that we can think of. no, not even you, smackass. we encourage you to put our music on your favorite jazzercise workout cassette, use it as a waco-style implement of torture, or even put it in a soundtrack if you're making amateur porn or home movies with aunt betty. hell, we don't care, as long as you listen to it, smackass.
