Artist description Born and raised in the land of conformity, Orange County's own Slack Theory are a band with a message, a mission, and a lack of pretense almost unheard of in any rock scene. Displeased by the lack of substance or musicality in today's rock music, the Slack set out to write music that is engaging, write lyrics that matter, and someday get rich, famous, and utterly washed up as the scene that raised them will eventually reject their commercial appeal, and then drown them in a sea of pure and unforgiving irony. With any luck, it should all come together.
