Artist description
The Groove Master Marcus Cordové. Is the music world’s missing link.
Marcus Cordové has been writing songs and producing music since he was sixteen years old.
His music idols include Maurice White of Earth Wind & Fire, Quincy Jones, the writers for Confunktion, Lake Side, and many other soul groups.
He also admires rock & roll from groups like Boston, AC DC, and Van Halen.
The Groove Music Cd is a composition dedicated to all the original creators of this world.
There has been no sampling what so ever in this production. Everything involved including the arrangements of the two remakes is original.
In honor of these two great songs they have been recorded in there entirety, and total credit is due to all the original writers.
The songs on this Cd were carefully selected.
They are the kinds of songs that you can listen to over & over again.
This album was entitled Groove Music, because this new sound is like laid back Pop with a Latin Reggae feel.
Marcus Cordové always wanted to create and play his own music. He never wanted to play covers.
Being that he was born and raised in a area cut off from the music industry.
It was unheard of to even think of writing and producing original music.
He could never get other musicians involved in creating.
No one ever seemed to have enough faith.
Playing with cover bands thru the years he learned a valuable lesson.
That by giving the people what “they” wanted to hear would always bring him satisfaction.
It is important to know that Marcus loves the music and the people.
As an artist his strive to create a product of quality is his life. |
