Artist History
A history as brief as our sets: A recent Nashville transplant from Indiana, Drummer Mark answered Guitarist Bob's ad for a hardcore band in October of 2000. Months passed, then Guitarist Bob remembered Bassist Scott had also recently moved to town from their former mutual home of New York City. The three immediately set to work on a number of tunes Guitarist Bob had already written and within a few short months they decided to record 'Five Second Rule' containing the 4 songs found here. They were recorded by Bassist Scott in his Nashville home using a 2-track Ampeg recorder purchased from the Carnegie Hall Mobile Truck Fire Sale. Elvis sang through it. Two passes were made through each tune, choosing the best and then overdubbing via Cubase and tweeking to a raw yet shimmery shine. The band has made several local Nashville appearances as well as shows in Knoxville, TN and Birmingham, AL and most recently (April 2002) completed a short run to Colorado where they appeared with ALL, The Pavers, and more than 2 dozen other punk rock bands from around the country and the world at 'STOCKAGE '02 in Ft. Collins. The event was recorded and filmed for release on CD and DVD (possibly on Owned and Operated recordings), so please look for it. Hopefully we'll be recording a full-length record in the summer of 2002, so stay tuned! We work for the song, we work to deliver a loud, glorious wave of sound, and we work because we love it. Thanks.

Press Reviews
From The Rage, Nashville Music Weekly (a preview, really): "We've heard differing reports on who these guys really are, but from what we gather they play Husker Du-era punk and garage rock, music that differs greatly from the kind they play for their day jobs as Music Row session cats. |
