Artist History Liston-"Bernie" Monsanto,Jr. hails from St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands. He resided in Washington, D.C. where he was the house engineer at the world-famous Kilimanjaro Night club (in Adam's Morgan). He has mixed music for some of the world's most popular caribbean and African artists. His resume reads like a "Who's -Who" in Caribbean/African music of the late 80's.. .i.e.,Dennis Brown, Mighty Diamonds, Chalice, Toots and the Maytals, Third World, Manu Dibango, Yellowman, Ini Kamoze, Arrow, Sparrow, Explainer, Martinho Davila, Kass Kass, Four Stars, Pepe Kalle, Big Youth, David Rudder,Lucky Dube, etc.) Eventually, he met with Bob Marley's "Wailers" with whom he toured with worldwide for a number of years. "That experience is one that I cherish dearly...to be with the world's most popular reggae band... just a total blessing!" He's always aspired to be able to create his own music.
