Artist History
The history of Jonathan Tiersten is overall pretty complicated so how about a summary: JT went to NYU in the mid-80s and graduated with a BA in theatre in the hopes of becoming an actor. He got into commercials, some plays, and landed leading roles in the independent films "Sleepaway Camp" (1980) and "Seasonal Differences" (1984). As the 90s neared JT had a kind of musical epiphany. He moved to Fort Collins, CO, ran a bar, and wrote music. His album "Heaven" is a culmination of the musical years he spent in Fort Collins. It was released in 1996 on Hapi Skratch Records and was a big hit in the local area. Six years later, JT is still cranking out the music and decided to make his solo debut even more available for you through mp3.com and CDbaby. Enjoy. |
