Artist History
Doozer from Connecticut, set out accomplish two things: ROCK OUT and BE HEARD! The success and attention they have already received is not usually expected from freshmen in an always changing music industry. After the success of 3 DIY tours and the Vans Warped Tour, rather than sit back and relax, they have already set new heights to reach. Jamie & Jeph Cohn, Kevin Schrader, Dave Oliverio, and Ethan DeAngelus are infecting kids throughout the country with their contagiously melodic songs and remarkably energetic live shows.
This has ignited a continual buzz and growing following for the band. Do not be fooled by their youthfully innocent look; the Cohn brothers (lead vocals & lead guitar) were born into the music business. Finding the right mix of rocking guitar riffs, sing-a-long choruses and a punk rock attitude has been Doozer's key to success. The band also keeps a completely direct and personal relationship with their fans. An integral part of their fan-base is the Internet. Doozermusic.com has gained over 100,000 hits. While on the road, they have stayed connected with kids over the Internet, kids can find out when the band will be back in their area. After a crazy summer of touring the band came home and recorded a brand new record. Though rock n roll continues to be divided by too many styles and genres, five new faces from CT have the right idea. Ask, Doozer how they define their music and you will probably get a shrug, a smile, and an invitation to their next show.

Press Reviews
" Doozer from Connecticut who drove twelve hours from Atlanta the night before took the stage with a commanding domination over everything we had heard thus far. Playing a powerful brand of Pop Punk, Doozer plays all your semi-spoken emo girl songs and bass driven power ballads (ala NFG and Saves the Day) minus the whiny lead singer and confusing “I Love You / I Hate You” lyrics. Adding to the bands appeal, is an amazing live show. " - Underfoot July 2002
" By far, the best band that played tonight. They got everyone there by the first song. You could tell from the way they were playing and presenting themselves on stage, they were there to have fun, and let everyone have fun. They did a great job. " Halfpoint January 2003 |
