Artist History The beginnings of Blueshift Progress were formed at a table in Denny's one night in 2001. Brent and Jeremy got together and decided it was time for true unrelenting rock. Jason, an amazing guitarist and Brent's roommate, joined the cause shortly thereafter. Sam and Brent had been in a band together previously, the Houston ska band '20 inch Long,' and knew that they rocked good as musical cohorts. Sam stepped in, shortly followed by Mike, a drummer of near-supernatural proportions, and on March 9, 2002, the first practice of what would come to be known as 'Blueshift Progress' took place. ...And thus began an era of rock.
