Artist History
jan1998 - watty and hippy met whilst working for the benefits agency in blackpool, where they found they were both musicians interested in electronic music.
Starting with with a 486 pc (remember them?) and cakewalk 3 they embarked on a musical experiment that has lasted 4 years.
since the early days, their resources and equipment have improved considerably, with two studios at different locations, both of which contributed to the "transfected E.P.". Watty's studio is the main base for plasmid at the moment, as it is the most advanced of the two, however hippy is planning a major studio upgrade. |

Press Reviews
"magical passes" was reviewed by computer music in their reader interactive section of the 50th issue, on 31st june 2002. the following is what they said:
"Some neat touches, but it doesn't go anywhere after 2:30. The Rhodes chords feature a grace note with heavy delay, accenting a lower grace note. This sustains the wrong grace note, making the Rhodes sound out of tune. More velocity on the following note will help, or some careful offline processing of the delay"
