Artist History
I was born in Houston Texas in Jefferson Davis Hospital on Setember 8, 1949.
I have been playing and studying music Professionally since age 13.
The first band I ever played in were the Hi-Tones.
Later I became a TSU Tornado in October of 1967. During that period we co-wrote the top 40 hit "Tighten Up" with Archie Bell & the Drells.
We recorded Getting The Corners on Atlantic Records. I have played on stage with many of the top recording and performing Artist all over the world.
I have written arrangements for The Ronnie Renfrow
orchestra, Calvin Owens Blues Orchestra and The Chubby Carrier Zydeco Band. As a matter of fact, I co-wrote and arranged the first big band Zydeco in the world.
I recently toured Asia and Italy with Gloria Edwards, a Blues and Jazz Vocalist. I co-wrote her 600,000 seller in the '70's "I Don't Need Nobody To Help Me Keep Up With My Man on the Crazy Cajun Label. It was re-released in 1999 on the Edsel label.
