Artist description Described by Gippsland's 104.7FM as their own 'Golden Girl of Country Music', Jodie-Lee's popularity is hardly a secret. Her performances have seen many a crowd throughout Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland, including Tamworth Country Music Festival, both as a competitor and performance artist. Jodie-Lee has always loved to sing, and from her humble beginnings in a small Rock and Roll covers band, she has developed and cultivated her own unique presentation of country songs, from popular contemporary covers, to her own compositions - including 2 stunning independent CDs, the first of which, "Tenderly", continues to sell well after two years of release. Particularly stong response has been received from radio stations and audiences at all Jodie-Lee's gigs for her own Country housewives' lament, "I Don't Do Dishes", with return performances requested at all venues by both her devoted fans and venue proprietors.

Artist History After the final farewell performances of her Rock and Roll days in 1997, Jodie-Lee returned to her first love, Country Music, and immediately set about a rigorous and challenging schedule of Quests, Eisteddfods, Country Festivals, and independent performances for herself and newly-formed band. Throughout her career, Jodie-Lee's list of credits has grown to include a string of outstanding achievements from Barham's Country Music Stampede, Wonthaggi Coalminers Country Music Festival, regular airplay of her original compositions, 10 days of non-stop performances in Tamworth rising to the status of True Grit Out of Tamworth finalist and Top 5 position at the Tamworth Golden Swaggie Awards. Jodie-Lee has not faltered in her determination and continues to achieve accolades at Country Music venues and Festivals throughout the state. The Australian Songwriters Association has recently awarded Jodie-Lee's original song "I Don't Do Dishes", the distinction of being in the Top 10% of Australian Country Music Compositions.
