Artist History
Jinkobah has been around for almost six years, as long as we've all played our instruements. It was originally five members- a vocalist, two guitarists, a bassist, and a drummer. At one point, one guitarist left. The quartet continued until we entered high school, when our singer went to boarding school in Pennsylvania, a long six hours from Capital Region New York. The trio at home (now a guitar, bass, and drums) wrote music and played it with the singer when he was home. Come the end of junior year, these three valiant boys wanted more. They began to write full instrumental songs and soon after, (once he wasn't scared anymore), the guitarist began to sing. That brings us to the present, where we're all sophomores in college. Another obstacle in our path, but unlike many other bands, not one big enough to break us up. We're writing songs as I write this and will continue to play whenever possible, because that's what we love to do. We hope you like our grooves |

Press Reviews
We've played many a free collaborative show and have won several awards in Battles of the Bands, Talent Shows, etc. etc. We aim to be as engaging as possible, we just don't have an official report to back it up. |

Additional Info
Emory still sings on the songs we wrote with him. We also do a side project called Yokum Hall with Paul Widjeskog. Well, not side because it's all of us still, but whatever...very different music, lighter tonally. |
