Artist description Cold Mountain is a dynamic quintet from Missoula Montana, producing original American/World music for studio and live stage performances. Combining a manic, honky-tonk piano, screaming fiddle, driving banjo, rock solid rhythm section, and four part vocal harmonies, Cold Mountain creates an innovative sound with a polished punch. With countless original tunes, and songwriting by all five members, a high-energy, improvisational show spans a wide array of genres from Bluegrass to Hip-Hop, Celtic to Rock and Roll, and appeals to music lovers of all ages. Through constant touring and relentless practice, Cold Mountain has been able to build a national fan base and play with many great artists. Since their introduction into the music scene in the late 90's, Cold Mountain has been dedicated to using music as a force for positive change in the world.
