Artist History
A powerful, up-and-coming four-piece emerging from Seattle, Left On Ryerson is a hard driving Nu-Metal force to be reckoned with. Their sound is hard core, mixing aggressive vocals with a pounding rhythm section. This band is loud but accessible, combining melody with mayhem. The music is in the vein of Deftones, Tool and System Of A Down.
Left On Ryerson was first conceived a few years ago when Travis Smith (bass) and Nick Arrigotti (rhythm guitar) met at a casual jam with the twin brothers Uriah (vocals) and Uriel Mitchell (drums) in Dayton, Nevada. This spontaneous meeting generated a unique vibe and sound, which all involved picked up on. Unfortunately, over the next two years the members of the group had half of the country between them for various reasons: Nick in Phoenix, Travis in Nevada, and the twins in Michigan. Now they find themselves reunited in Seattle, where they have been working diligently to produce the hard-hitting debut recording, Asynchronous.
Asynchronous covers a variety of moods, from the driving force of The Desert, or Party Girl to the melodic angst of Over and Stand. Left On Ryerson brings an energetic and fresh ideal to the Nu-Metal scene. The band is currently seeking a label, and regional distribution.
