Artist History YOUNG MAN AFRAID OF HIS HORSES: Trance Pictures developed gradually like an instant camera picture. Upheaving lift-music for those storeys which do not appear on the display unit. The CDs are comparable with a long and calm river at infinity. YOUNG MAN AFRAID OF HIS HORSES (below as well named as "YOUNG-MAN") from Frankfurt/Main in Germany are considered as a rather arbitrary Trance/Ambient Project. Since 1997 the duo, consisting of c-man and t-man annually released a 4 track EP on the band-own label. In the characteristic sound-cosmos of YOUNG-MAN one has the feeling to meet the own soul. YOUNG-MAN CDs take one off and let one flow, using the repeat-key, into a meditative as well as cinematic continuous loop. Relaxing songs leave space for own associations. With their atmospheric grooves and electrical space sounds, c-man and t-man create a Trance-Ambient-Carpet, which carries the listener easily and playfully far away. Already in 1999 the YOUNG-MAN Track "L' song" was published on the ZilloScope Sampler of the well known German music magazine Zillo. The music of YOUNG MAN was also successfully appointed to emphasise different documentation telecasts for the ZDF, ARTE, HR und 3Sat. From one CD to the other, YOUNG-MAN continuously developed their style of Music. For the millenium publication "2000" of the Zillo music magazin, Joe Asmodo wrote the following: "Their Millennium-Silver now is their genuine Masterpiece, a sparkling jewel of electronic levitating sounds". In September 2001 the Song "Summertime" was published on the ZilloScope Sampler. At the beginning of 2002 the opening track "September" from the CD 2001 turned up on the Sampler "The Art of Sysyphus -Volume 13-" which was published by the eclipsed music magazine (Sysyphus records). In summer 2002 YOUNG-MAN celebrated the 25th anniversary of Radio-Goethe/KUSF and San Francisco/USA with them. The head of Radio Goethe, Mr. Arndt Peltner chose the YOUNG-MAN Song "Andromeda" for his double CD Sampler with German musicians for the 25 year existence of the American radio stations. All six released YOUNG-MAN CDs "1997", "1998", "1999", "2000", "2001" and "2002" can be drawn from the alternative sound storage medium distributor SXDistribution/Germany (www.sxdistribution.de).
