Artist description Voices On The Verge consists of Erin McKeown, Jess Klein, Beth Amsel and Rose Polenzani. All have achieved some level of solo success in the 18 months between the recording and release of Live In Philadelphia, a record that showcases all four women in an exciting, partially improvisatory environment that demonstrates each member's strengths as they perform their own, and contribute to each others music.

Artist History For two nights in late March, four uniquely talented artists decided to try something a little different, a little challenging even. Without much in the way of a script to guide them, Beth Amsel, Jess Klein, Erin McKeown, and Rose Polenzani set up shop at Philadelphia's Indre Studios, invited an audience to witness and participate in the proceedings, and began sharing their songs and their voices. Producer and Rykodisc President George Howard was there to capture it all on tape. When it was over, the foursome known as Voices On The Verge had completed their debut album, Live in Philadelphia.
