Artist History
3 years ago 3 friends sat in a van on a cold winter night, discussing music and stuff. One of the guys thought it would be cool if they started a band. They picked their positions in the band without argument. John Hedrick on bass, Nate Hedrick on guitar, and Jeb Stroup on drums. They soon recruited possibly the most talented local guitarist, Evan Strock, to help with song writing and guitar solos. With the band slowly developed to be a reliable group. The band played at birthday parties, and churches while going through many names and lead singers. Then the bands reliable bass player, John, went to college, leaving the band to look around. The band prayed for a bass player to come forward. Soon after, a classmate told Jeb he was just learning bass and Jeb knew he would fit in perfectly. Adam Baker joined the band to play bass. The band, though feeling more complete, still struggled with 2 problems. Lead singer and band name. Drummer Jeb stepped up and took the vocals on with confidence. He decided to play the drums and sing at the same time with Evan doing the backgrounds. As for the band name, they wanted something that could be taken as a message. "Save Your Innocence" was born. The phrase (now the band name) itself means to cherish your childhood, the years when your whole life is innocence and not to mess it up by making wrong choice. The band continued to write original stuff. In 2001 the band recorded there first cd, a 4 song E.P. called "Where This Road May Lead Us...E.P." to give there fans a taste of there music.
