Artist History
Pallet orginally started in March of 1994. The group consisted of Rob Allen (drummer), Mark Tarrant (bassist), and Jay Tarrant (guitarist/singer/songwriter). The trio started when Mark and Rob were jammin' and realized they needed a singer. Mark asked his brother to try out and right away it clicked. They actually finished a few songs that same day.
Rob's brother-in-law, Todd Alvarez (guitarist), joined the band a few years later. They started playing shows twice a month at local bars. They also entered the MTV Beach House contest around this time and received an award for talent, originality and potential. They decided the studio was the next step. Having over 50 originals, the choices of how many songs and what particular songs to put on the demo were hard to make.
Currently PALLET is focusing on promoting the CD and playing out. Future goals are to get the attention of record companies and/or potential investors so they can tour and create a master album. They understand this is not an overnight process and will continue to strive for that goal until it happens.

I was pleasantly surprised. This is a great CD!
Dee Snider, Dee Snider Radio/Twisted Sister
Four of the most talented AND humorous guys you could ever meet! Delivering a hard rock/pop sound that's lacking in some of today's up and coming bands.
Mike "Haze", Big Bang Music Explosion-WLZX 99.3 FM
Pallet will be delivering a hard, kick ass sound to the valley for a long time to come. Brian Stiver, MNX LP Reviews

Pallet is a fun, light-hearted group of talented, local musicians
who have a lot to offer the music scene.

Music's great... Tom Reeves, Cat's Voice Productions
The more I screen these songs, the more I like them. Taxi
Well after a long and restful sleep the boys from Pallet return to the local music scene, and bring their brand to Grunge/ Metal/ Rock to the walls of Infinity. Can these guys be confined by mere walls of wood and nails? Pallet will not disappoint.
The band give off a powerful rock, garage band vibe on their CD. Donnie Moorhouse, Springfield Union News
Their attitude and their Green Day meets Sam Kinison brand of
punk were taken just as they should be--as refreshing and humorous. Gary Carra
These boys have a strong and steady sound, bordering between
Hardcore and Heavy Metal, with what looks to be an unlimited
supply of talent. Brian Stiver, MNX LP Reviews
