Artist History
I started playing classical music at the ripe old age of 15. Never very good at the classical viola, I turned to folk music, which I had been raised on. Later, I got interested in early music, and currently play crumhorn, recorder, and sing in a Renaissance ensemble. However, my love has always been for Irish music.
I have been interested in irish traditional music for a long, long time. I have sung in local pubs for the past several years. I studied music in Ireland, mostly by hanging out with local musicians, I've found that the best way to learn is through the oral tradition.
