Artist History
1993
Originally formed by Yildiray Cinar,Cengiz Ozen,Ercin Saydam,Mahmud A. Asrar and Mansur Asrar in Ankara. Flatground laid down its hardcore-punk roots in the mid 90s.
1996
As fate would have it flatground would choose to soldier on with three members, without Mansur and Mahmud Asrar.
1999
Brought with it a new drummer; Cem from Cenotaph fame. But fate aided by military service would again leave flatground with only three members.
2000
The drumsticks would have a new master as Emrah Yildirim (from Somethings Wrong) took over the empty seat.
2001
Finally Yildiray would leave the bottom end work to Ugur Akin, and have more time to work on his vocals as Ugur cut in as regular bass player.
2003
Emrah would be dethroned by the very talented Caglar as Flatgrounds new drummer, once again weighing the band in at five members.
