Artist History
It all began in the Summer of 1992... Fernando Martin invited Fernando Carriedo to spend a Summer at Georgia Southern University. After a few short months, Carriedo and Martin developed a strong friendship as well as a desire to write music together. Carriedo decided to transfer from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (the largest University in the World) to GSU. Not too long afterwards they decided to form their first band "The-Way". Which gained a large following as well as great critic acclaim within the Southeast of the United States.
As the band grew, tensions developed within the band and Joseph Thomas (Bassist) and later Jim Oliveira (drums) left the band. Martin and Carriedo kept on writing together, but as the University's classes where getting more demanding the less time they had to create music. Carriedo got his degree in Chemistry and moved to Macon, GA to work for a well know Fortune 500 company. Martin finished his degree in Business and Economics and moved to Atlanta to work for another Fortune 500 company. The music was put on halt... But, the friendship remained strong.
On 2000 Carriedo decided to moved to Atlanta to work for another Fortune 500 company and the desire to write music together surfaced again. After a long interviewing process, they found Allan Sheard (bass) and Michael Leak (drums).
The-Glitch is in the process of recording its first Album "Version 1.10", which will include 10 songs. The album will be released by the Summer of 2002.
