Artist History
PoorGlory was born in Burke, VA in 1996. At the time, PoorGlory was just a few mediocre songs from an mediocre high school guitarist named Dan O'Hare. After relocating to Wethersfield, CT, Dan began to record multiple demos of his music, all of which were ultimately unsatisfactory. In 1998, armed with an album's worth of songs and better recording gear, the all-instrumental album "Despite My Demise... Part 1" was recorded, and released in 1999. Only about 30 copies were produced and distributed. You can't get any more underground, folks.
Now, in 2002, PoorGlory will rise again to hail and kill. New songs, even better gear, and an attempt at vocals will be the hallmarks of the widely anticipated (I wish) 5 song demo: "Artifacts of Ecstacy". |
