Artist description
The formation of King Snyder is an ultimate reunion of friends and a natural progression for these talented musicians, showcasing their mature technical capability as well as their sincere and intense love of music. There is an incredible energy present as the band creates songs that forge a new sound, integrating the tight, solid performances and original styles that each member of the band is known for.
In March of 2002, the band offered their first recording to the public at their debut show in Ithaca, NY. The powerful three song demo was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Ultimate Studios in Cortland, NY and captures the raw integrity of King Snyder's music.
Along with an original style and great sound, you can always be sure that King Snyder's live performances will be explosive. Fans of Shovelbarn and 414 who remember those crazy stage antics and wild, unabashed attitudes won't be at all disappointed. King Snyder is a band that no fan of heavy music should ever miss!

Artist History
King Snyder is a five piece, heavy rock band comprised of Brad Baker on vocals, Seth Kelly and Chris Couse on guitars, Jimi Phelps on bass, and Jeff Hulslander on drums. Brad and Seth are best known as former members of the popular New York hard rock band Shovelbarn (1996-2001), and have been playing together in various bands for nearly ten years. Earlier projects of theirs included the Elmira, NY bands Pupil (1994-1995) and Skrewhorse (1995-1996). Drummer Jeff Hulslander was also a member of Skrewhorse, and went on to form the band Stuck On Goofy as well as other hard hitting line-ups within the Central New York music scene. Guitarist Chris Couse has also been a major player in the Elmira music scene and a close friend of the Shovelbarn crew for many years. Bassist Jimi Phelps hails from Liberty, Pennsylvania, where he was a founding member of the hard working and popular heavy band 414 (1996-2001). |
