Artist description
EVERGREEN HILL: Sue and Tim Montgomery have been composing
and recording soft/"retro" rock and country music
together since 1989. Their unique style was aired on 9
Buffalo/Western New York radio stations from 1990 to 1992.
Airplay of their original music also occurred in Western
Massachusetts in 2001. Recently, Sue and Tim have been on
the radio in the Cleveland, Ohio area, Mount Sterling, "Ol' Kentucky" (the place where our songs got played), and St. Paul, Minnesota. Evergreen Hill is
studio-based- Sue is featured on lead vocals, and Tim plays all the instruments himself. Multi-tracker John M. Green has contributed some outstanding writing, production, and vocal work to the second album; Evergreen Hill has a style that is simple and direct with emphasis on solid song writing and clear vocals, and have been working hard to correct all the production and drumming flaws that were evident in their first release. Much improved sound quality has been obtained with assistance from Engineers Mike Gray and Al Dusel of Starfields, Buffalo, NY. Evergreen Hill has scrapped their FYE retail release plans and are "retooling" and writing for their third (concept) album entitled, "Mr. Willowbee".....(the first song from this album ("Crime") is 90% finished and should be done shortly...)please stand by, and thanks for listening!
