Artist description
March 2000 A.D....It is a springtime in the new Millenium. The World is still rubbernecking to catch the most uneventful apocalypse ever predicted, but nature is doing what she does best this time of year:
she gets warm, she gets wet, she gets laid...
And in the climate of paranoia, a Black Lamb was born.
Black Lamb is the antithesis of everything that is going on in popular music today. Black Lamb is a rock-n-roll band - they are not reinventing the wheel. They are about putting four of those motherfuckers on a monster truck and running things over.
The five members of Black Lamb are all punk, metal, and rock-n-roll veterans who have done enough living to fuel a two day "Behind The Music" marathon. And although they share similar influences with their contemporaries, these boys truly walk it like they talk it. Combine the sex and swagger of bands like The Rolling Stones, and AC/DC with the dark grooves of Black Sabbath and Blue Cheer and you're just scratching the surface...
See Black Lamb live and you can forget about any pop posing jump-rock posturing or deep-thought shoe gazing; this band is here to wail the bloody blues without concern for the safety of themselves or others. Chanting mantras like "sex, drugs, and somethin' to cuddle with," you might think these boys are goofing a rock-n-roll heyday long past, but just look in their faces and know these sickies really mean it.
No Dj, no dancers, just Gibson guitars and maybe a bit of Jager...What the world needs now is rock-n-roll...and Black Lamb is gonna make damn sure it chokes on it.
