Artist description
The Piermarini Project- Formed in March 2001 in Lowell Massachusetts. Three albums since March 2001. Their debut album, "Raunch", showcased the earlier writings of the band's guitarist Ed Grossheim. The second, softer album "Musings" (April 2002) covered more emotional ground, bringing tales of love, loss, and heartbreak, through a number of nicely written lovesongs. The third album, "New Beginnings" (October 2002), continued along the path of "Musings", but also added a few electric and accoustic blues songs to carry the theme of lost and newfound love. The band changed their name to "Blues Phoenix in July 2003, to reflect their rebirth into a totally blues-oriented band.

Press Reviews
"Unusual, dreamy, relaxing music. Interesting sound effects with electric guitar...Like the bluesyness of some of your music."
"Unique, moody, rather bluesey songs. Very enjoyable."
"Very noticeable blues influence in your music. Well done!"
"'Snow Angel' and 'Livin to Love' remind me of Mark Cohn...but your band has a more "spiritual sound" - the best way I could think to word it. Very soothing and deep."
"Your tunes have an early 70's vibe to them- pretty cool. Personally, I would add a little aggression to the guitar playing but what you are doing works.
Keep cranking the tunes out." -Sean Aumack, Guitarist for 'The Detonators'.
