Artist History
S.T.O.L.E.N The journey began December 31/ January 1 New Year's Eve of the Millenum at a house party in the valley of Alpine, CA. The result was a singer getting booted and the formation of S.T.O.L.E.N with Chance Bray (singer/guitar), Erik Clabeaux (singer/bass), and Nick Hanson (drums). Originally name Stolen Hills after the hills by Chance & Erik's houses where they had many memories of their childhood(especially in the Avocado groves around the Lake Jennings area)were plowed and dug up for new houses & Wal-mart, etc.. in good old El Cajon, CA. S.T.O.L.E.N WAS BORN..... After a year of playing college parties and getting new material down, the guys were off into Silent Sound studio to record their first full length LP, "He Studied Light." After the release of their CD, they played their first show @ Brick By Brick. Since then S.T.O.L.E.N's played all over San Diego(Epicentre, Canes, Knitting Factory in LA) just to name a few and have opened for WB recording artist, Trapt, along with countless number of talented upcoming SD bands. S.T.O.L.E.N can be heard on 91x Loudspeaker, 92.1 Go Loco, and KCPR 91.3 in San Luis Obispo. In recent news, S.T.O.L.E.N as added a fourth member, Chase Walker. Chase fits nicely into the band since he has watched them since the beginning. Now S.T.O.L.E.N is complete and gearing up to go record a new EP with the help of producer/engineer Joe Marlet (Blink 182, Foo Fighters, F.O.N., Queens of the Stone Age) at Signature Sound in La Jolla, CA this summer. For S.T.O.L.E.N, the road to acheiving their dreams to be the next Sabbath/Nirvana is coming a reality. In fact its only just begun..................................... |
