Artist description I've had some great time in bands which is well documneted on my website (see link) but the music here is all solo work.I play a bit of everything guitar,bass,keyboards and vocals and so I've ended up putting a lot of music together on my own. It's great working with other people and sometimes it's great working on your own,having a vision of how you want it to be and actually seeing it realised. Underneath pretty much everything i do is FUNK & SOUL,I believe that these elements are crucial in making good music.Not in the overt sense that I try and put fat bass in every song and try and sing like James Brown (cos I can't anyway) but,well if you know what I mean you'll know what I mean. Let's just say there are too many people who think music is just a way to make quick money. ï

Artist History Prince got me into music when I was at school. I loved the way he defied everyone and did it all his own way and at the time he was making great music.After Lovesexy it all went a bit wrong for me but he got me into music so thanks. Started playing bits of everything and trying to be Prince,recording grandiose album concepts on 4-tracks and really just wanted to be a big star. Got into different bands over the years.One I got into too young and didn't realise how good it was until it was all gone,another very good band 'Gilgamesh' I had to kill off in it's prime because I had to choose between music and the love of my life at the time. Went travelling for over a year and had a fantastic time of it,came back with amazing energy and entuhusiasm. That made me build a fantastic band which played a residency in a pub and turned into the best thing that that dead town (Maidstone,Kent,UK) EVER saw,(it's the truth) Still I had to get out of that place and went to study music in Brighton.Had a great time doing my degree and ended up scoring music for my own film 'bitstream' (see website) After this I have done bits of this and that and am loving it down here in Brighton which incidentally is the best place to live in England. Getting back into music now in a big w ay and 2002 is going to be a big year for me. *
