Artist description For right now its just me laying down the tracks from the guitar, piano and bass with the help of a great drum machine. I record the tracks overlay them and mix them. Artist History I started playing my Grandma's steel string guitar with 2 strings missing when I was 6 ( that was for a summer visit). She bought me one for my birthday that October. It began with a lot of picking and strumming, till Mom made me go to guitar lessons. The only thing I learned there was how to read guitar music and follow a bunch of stupid rules. I dropped the lessons and just picked up tabulature sheets when I was 10. My first song I learned to play was "House of the Rising Sun" at age 11. I started putting thing together at age 12 with help of a knock off Gibson SG Custom, and an old Crate amp. I also learned on a Harmony 12 string about the same time. When I turned 16, my Dad and Grandma chiped in and bought me my first real guitar. A Fender Strat (US Pro Shop Made, not Japanese). And graduated up to effects pedals and a Marshal Stack. 6 months later I discovered my true love the Bass. I bought a cheap Fender knockoff for 20 bucks at a garage sale, and spent the money on the Mesa Boogie Amps. I watched people like Feal, Billy Sheehan, Sting, Nikki Sixx, and Cliff Burton. Totally different styles, but managed to merge them guite nice. Keyboard and the piano came at 17, and thats just a little by ear. Can't reproduce anyones stuff, but can come up with my own lics. My first band came my senior year, playing Hardcore Punk in a band called "Thugs". We sounded a little like Fear and I don't know. Also played in a experimental/Post Rock band called "Conspiracy" We couldn't get along so we didn't last long. Techno kind of took over for awhile, but I'm back to the root of the music.
