Artist description
The new social conscience is called
"Do the Right Thing," and it's a classic song
that conveys a message of hope to all of us.
United we stand!
With inlufences combining elements of the blues (Heat Lightning),
Sun Rockabilly sounds on Bank Acount's Too Small,
country twang of (Ain't) Nothin' Shakin', and the
early rock and roll arrangements in Baja Baby
Too Much Fun, Jackslacks Rock and Roll Dinosaur is
the complete package.

Artist History
With many years of singing and playing under his
belt, Jackslacks is a true Rock and Roll Dinosaur.
The singer/songwriter/musician has played hundreds
of shows across the U.S.A. and shared the stage
with rock and rollers Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis,
Stray Cats, The Blasters, NRBQ, The Fabulous Thunderbirds,
Junior Brown, Jason D. Williams and others.
The line-up of musicians who appear with Jackslacks on
this record provide a solid wall of sound and include
guitarist Tommy Byrnes (Billy Joel) and the ace
studio production of Lee Rocker (Stray Cats).
Residing in Charleston, West Virginia since 1996 and
loyal to vintage Ludwig drums, Jackslacks would someday
like to elevate his Shield of Love Productions to
provide shelter, employment assistance and counseling to
those less fortunate. |
