    Artist description
Waste, a collaboration of ex members of the Phoenix bands, Victims In Ecstacy and Split, began in Febuary of 2002. Veterans to the Phoenix music scene, Bakin, and A.Gerold were all members of Victims In Ecstacy, a local hard rock/industrial band who put out two records and toured with bands like Pigface, Gravity Kills and Godhead. Leaving VIE after 5 years, the two members decided to recruit T.Gerold (formerly of Split) as the keyboard player, Kirk Nemo (formerly of 8 Feet Under) as the drummer, Tim Kelleher (formerly of Anger Between Silence) as the bass player, and L.A. Rush as the vocalist.
