Artist History
Vivien O’Dair……
The first album “Truth”, recorded in West Cork, is a reflection of her life’s experiences and in a fusion of hauntingly beautiful voice and musical poetry, the truth is there for the listener. The White Warrior was written while looking out over the Celtic Sea in Southern Ireland.
The song Angels was written especially for the children of Sarajevo, but is equally relevant for children everywhere in the world. The song was released in the UK in 1995 sung by children. Michael Jackson spoke to a six-year-old boy who sang solo on the recording, live via satellite from Japan, as his Heal the World representatives had heard of the song and were interested in promoting the charity for which it was used.
Vivien has performed for live audiences from a young age. Only now with her partnership and musical collaboration with Chris O’Dair has she achieved commitment of her own music to the media.
The songs have been played on BBC Radio nationwide in the UK, Shropshire Radio, Radio One, Radio Maldwyn, Radio West Midlands, , and now in Co. Cork, Co. Kerry, and Co. Tipperary, Ireland, and Vivien has been featured on Sky TV News and Central TV.
A second album is currently in production for release in 2002.
