Artist description The Parts Missing are a 4 piece noisy rock band from Chicago, Illinois. They formed in early 2001. The members have played in various rock and experimental bands in the midwest during the late 90s. Influences include Jesus Lizard, U.S. Maple, The Minutemen, Flying Luttenbachers and Loraxx. The Parts Missing have performed in Chicago clubs such as the Fireside Bowl and The Prodigal Son. They have shared bills with rock bands including Tekulvi, Argon-Evolution, Last Ditch Effort and Murder in the Red Barn. Currently, The Parts Missing are working on material for their first full length CD and are booking shows throughout the midwest.
