Artist description Barry is a singer/songwriter trying to make some music that he can identify with. He hopes you can identify with it too. He likes to break some of the typical patterns of songwriting to include new thoughts, new sounds, or new structure within the popular song format. He's trying to say something that maybe you haven't heard before, or maybe he's just trying to say it a different way. He writes about the struggle to find your identity and about trying to live even just a little piece of your dreams in a tough world.

Artist History Barry started guitar lessons at age 11. He started singing and playing guitar in cover bands in high school. He attended the University of Scranton in Scranton, PA from 1987 to 1991, where he was in several cover bands, playing house parties, bars, and school functions. He can now be seen at various coffeehouses and open mic gigs in Westchester County, NY. After years of playing cover tunes, Barry is finally living his dream of playing his own music for anyone who will listen. He is currently working on his first album, which he hopes to have available by the summer of 2002.
