Artist History
1992- Patrick Swift joins Greg Enkler and others in "Electric Mayhem," the first time any Silent Insanity members play together
1994- The band, which has gone through many personell and name changes, changes its name first to Silent Insanity, and then to Acid Reign
1995- Mark Gauvin joins Acid Reign as Rhythm Guitarist. Acid Reign plays with Metallica Tribute Lifeless Child at their first show, meet Marty Amidon.
1996- After lead guitarist Dave Robles leaves the band, remaining members hunt down Marty. Once found, he eagerly joins the band.
Band Changes its name back to Silent Insanity.
1997- After vocalist Charlie Lamb leaves the band, Mark takes over lead vocals and puts down the guitar.
On the winter solstice, Silent Insanity records its only demo at Volume4 Recordings in Fairfield, CT. Due to financial problems, it is never released (until now)
1998- Internal tensions tear Silent Insanity apart. Patrick joins Witness Relocation Program, Marty joins Buzzmeg, Greg joins Powderburn and Mark leaves the scene to pursue the Piano.
2000- Silent Insanity plays their only reunion show. Playing together again inspires Marty, Mark and Patrick to begin playing together again. They are unable to convince Greg to leave Powderburn.
2001- Frail, a reformed and drastically different version of Witness Relocation Program, hits the Hudson Valley scene, with a bang! Members include Marty, Patrick and Mark (now on Keys) as well as Witness bassist Vern Nickerson and SciFi Lullaby vocalist Chris Berardi
2002- Frail releases their first album, "Watching You Fall" to audience raves.
2003- Frail will play with Powderburn during the Texas leg of their Watching You Fall tour, assuring that Silent Insanity still shares the stage to this day!
