Artist description
Hailing from the east coast, Second Priority is a good mix between the hardcore scene as well as the pop punk genre. Take the best from both worlds, guitars ringing like buzzsaws to the more athemic lyrics, reflecting an angsty feel with a dash of leftist politics. Mix in a rancid style rythme section and you have one of the youngest bands on the scene bringing the punk rock genre to a stand still... |

We have a more anthemic sound musically, that glances the surface of rancid (w/ a dash of NOFX), but with more melodic vocals resembling Bad Religion. |

Artist History
Second Priority was formed in late October of 2001 and has been pumping out angst filled, edgy punk rock since. The breaking up of "just another punk band" and "no good reason" marked the begining of what was to become Second Priority. From the very first practice to the one just finished, anthony has been driving heavy crunch driven riffs to the steady thumping of chris's crazy bass lines. Bryan provides the cover fire with highly sophisticated drum beats well beyond his time, as Ryan pulls it together with his semi "melodic" thought driven vocals that are the corner stone of intelli-punk. Since there forming Second Priority has taken the local scene by storm, ripping apart each venue with there own brand of punk rock. They are currently in the process of record ing there first full length album.
