Artist History The J Brothers... ahhh. Three students of the State University of New York at Buffalo, The J Brothers formed during the fall of 2000. As freshmen, John Dietl and Jim Youngs met because they lived next to each other in their dormitory. Josh Somers, a friend of Jim from his home town of Pulaski, met Peter Jay in his classes at UB and introduced him to the rocking duo. The three started playing together that fall and discovered that they had a sweet groove. Excited with this musical epiphany, the trio formed a band and started writing their own songs. In the winter of 2002 they traveled to the remote village of Camden, New York to record a demo. They successfully produced 5 tracks and are currently seeking opportunities for public performance.
