Similar Artists Hopefully, no one, as is any musicians idea. However, we have been compared to mettalica, staind, godsmack, and creed.

Artist History Feardown was originally formed as a three piece in 1999 when Joe Plummer answered a "drummer wanted" ad in the Scene magazine. Ken Phillips (lead / rhythm guitar) and Marc Sabo (bass guitar) played a few things they had been working on and right from the start there was good chemistry. Progress on songs came fast, and soon the band had nearly a full length CD worth of instrumentals. Looking to take their music to the next level, Feardown sought out a second guitarist in late 2000, and found a good match in Shawn Marsh. In addition to adding depth to the bands guitar sound, Shawn also brought vocal ability to the table. It was not long before FearDown started writing and fitting lyrics into the songs they had already written (as well as their new material.) By Mid 2001, the commitment had been made to record the first album in September, and sure enough, by October the band was writing their "thank you's" and looking forward to their first copies of "Zero Image."
