Artist History
The now defunct group Wha'ZAT?! was formed because Andrew and I have been singing together forever, but we didn't do anything remotely serious till recently. Towards the end of 1998 we began recording with a group, just hip-hop. That was started as a joke, but we became better and added intrumentation. After some personell changes, and some changes of heart, the band disbanded. Luckily, we had met Zak. Zak, joined Trolley and I and we became Wha'ZAT?!; an autobiographic name! |

Group Members
There are three members of Wha'ZAT?!: Zak, Andrew and Tom. Zak LaVigne is the youngest member of the group at 14 years old. His soprano voice really creates the group's unique sound. Zak, other than singing, also enjoys snowboarding and hanging out with his friends. Zak's zany antics keep the group on their toes and allows for the laid back feel of Wha'ZAT?!'s music. Andrew Folley, 16 years old, would be considered the "lead singer." Though, all three members contribute a lot to Wha'ZAT?!, Andrew's smooth tenor vocals provide the base upon which the group stands. Andrew is also a stellar catcher for his school's baseball team. Tom, at 17 years old, is the group’s eldest member. He is the rap specialist, and he sings back-up vocals. Tom wrote all of the group’s music. |
