Artist History
Thanks for stopping by the Jellywig MP3 site!
We hope you enjoy some of our music. The four
of us have been playing together for about 5
years and actually new each other in college at
UC Irvine but didn't hookup until after we all
graduated - yes we all actually graduated.
We've played all over behind the "Orange Curtain"
(that's Orange County California for any out-of
-staters) and in some other incarnations we were
also known as Hagfish and Bad Acid Disco
(in the very remote possibility you saw us under
those names).
A lot of club owners seem to have trouble with
our name sometimes and have listed us as the
"Jellylegs" (which of course is perhaps how we
looked toward the end of the night) and our
personal favorite, the "Jollywigs" (which sounds
like the founding fathers after a few
Boston Ales).
Many people, believe it or not, ask us exactly
what a Jellywig is and our answer really depends
on what day it is. It's a noun, a verb, an
adjective, a cocktail, a grandmaster chess move,
the name of the drummer's departed pet monkey,
or a tasty chewy fruit candy - the list is
endless as well as subjective. |
