    Artist History
Kevin Macbeth is a seasoned survivor of the East Coast music scene. From the Miami Rock clubs, to a stint in Atlanta and then on to New York City, Kevin has done the hard grind of the musician's life, a grind has steeled resolve and honed talent. The results of Kevin's dedication and drive is expressed by a huge catalog of great tunes and a number of project bands with names like Han Din Han, Waterlillies, Fabulon, Pump Co., Duckwood, Horse Manouvre and Adult Women. Now stupid world ! Kevin's vocal range, combined with expert production and inspired musical performances lend a powerful and addictive delivery system for his clever and insightful lyrics. Kevin's influences are many, and you will find tastes that seem familiar, but they have been taken in and seasoned with the heart of a renaissance rocker, and relased as a musical expression that is uniqely his own. And besides, It Rocks!

    Press Reviews
Recent listen.com review: "Perhaps because of their eclecticism -- and their penchant for chirpy, falsetto vocals -- the immediate reaction to Stupid World is to place them alongside Supergrass. Their fun, up-tempo songs have tantalizing Power Pop melodies filled with "sing-along-with-us" choruses (who could resist the repeated "pum pums" that fill Mushroom Girl? Not us.) and glistening guitars. And like the aforementioned, they've managed to take a handful of influences ranging from Cheap Trick to Prince, from Bowie to the Kinks and make really good, slightly quirky music. Brilliant vocal/guitar pop that shouldn't be missed." Filed Under: Indie Rock, Power Pop Sounds Like: Supergrass, Sloan, The Apples in Stereo
