Artist History
Porchlight was formed during the summer of 1996. The band performed a handful of times during the summers of '96 and '97, but the fall of each year Scott Brownson returned to Phoenix, Arizona to finish his youth ministry degree at Southwestern College. Now that he has graduated, things have really taken off.Porchlight has quickly grown in sound and popularity. They have played for fans from their home state of Montana to Arizona. They opened for Wes King on July 4, 1999. The Lord provided a great opportunities for Porchlight to spread their message. They were one of five bands selected among hundreds of entries to perform at the 1999 NACAS Showcase in Nashville Tennessee. They have received inquiries from several producers, and have been asked to be a part of compilation CD's. They have been really blessed in their musical talents and stand ready and willing to go where the Lord leads. |
