NFB is very original. Rock beats, melodies,
harmonies and (usually) meaningful lyrics. They

(you know you all do it!), to love, heartbreak
and depression. |

Artist History
My best friend brought an old, beat up electric
guitar to my high school graduation party in
July 1994. We went into the garage, plugged it
into an ancient amplifier, turned it all the way
up (to eleven), and hit a chord. Actually, I
don't think it was a real chord, just a random
strum, but that was all it took. I was already
a writer, and the resounding electric wall of
sound bouncing around the garage gave birth to
what is now neccos for breakfast. |

Press Reviews
CLEVELAND FREE TIMES August 30-September 5, 2000 "From the onset, Neccos come out swinging on Cinco De Necco, a jaw-rattling pop uppercut. The frazzled "The State I'm In" opens the album in a mess of agitated guitar anddisaffected vocal depreciation: it's a slice of power-pop perfection that sets the bar high. While the rest of the record fails to pack as much of a punch, the manic electronics of "Speeder"and the neo-metal tinged "The Grind" are still enough to leave a few shiners in thier wake. Cincosuffers from brevity, but it's lack of duration is compensated for by the tufts of wooly man-fur on its breast. GRADE: A minus" |
