Artist History Since 1995. Helm, coming from a musical family, (he was playing music constantly from the moment he touched the keys) and having played in many bands eventually met with Kev and Trunch to form Wonderland. During this period of gay abandon, the rest of the sushi boys came together. Signed a development deal with Roger Taylors "Smashing Records" in summer '98. Changed name to "naked sushi" in December 1998 due to conflict with Oxford based band of the same name (oh and the Euro porn ring "Wonderland"). Released "epone" CD April 1999. Released "epone" CD April 1999, and an online MP3 version from July 1999 at http://www.mp3.com/nakedsushi. Naked Sushi embrace the internet and its website http://www.nakedsushi.com is the place for current information and gigs. Naked Sushi are currently showcasing in London on a regular basis and playing to larger clubs and Universities nationwide. Naked Sushi recently headlined Roger Taylors eclipse party in Cornwall. Brian May (Queen) “absolutely fantastic band, utterly original” then he bought the CD. Sir Tim Rice – another CD sold and more praise. The gig was amazing, ending with a version of Bohemian Rhapsody.
