Artist History Originally from Eugene, Oregon this singer/songwriter began his music career about 10 years ago in Portland, Oregon. During that time, he had spent a few short year in Hollywood where he found mild success in movies, T.V., and commercials (He has worked with many celebrities from Kathy Ireland, Dennis Franz, Ed Begley Jr., and Madonna). He is currently working full-time in advertising, he continues to play music regularly at local venues in the vicinity of Carlsbad, CA. Presently fullfilling a role as a solo artist, in the past John has also launched his band Hatful of Rain. His band was established along with one od his own music idols, Dramarama's lead guitarist Mark Englert. His first album "40,000 Moments" was released nationally on JTL Music, which was based out of Portland, OR. In addition, to JTL's broadcast the album received radio plays in several metropolitan areas to include: LA, Portland, and Seattle. John was immediately noticed by critics in the music industry, and was forecasted to become a household name, and his fans have continually inquired the release date of his next album. John has spent many hours perfecting his talent, and is looking for the opportunity to be rediscovered in the music industry. His voice has been compared to Michael Stipe (REM), David Pirner (Soul Asylum), and Rob Thomas (Matchbox 20).
