Artist description
Election is a band that is passionate about songs. You won't find any double-disc Yngwie Malmsteen tributes from these guys; just straight-ahead pop songs crafted to make teenage girls cry. The band hopes to one day complete their dream of producing a ground-breaking Rock/Opera tentatively titled, "The Gangsta Rap Ragtime Review." The members are currently waiting inside your computer to play their magical blend of pop goodness just for you. |

Artist History
Election was formed in 1999 from the now defunct band, BBC. After the departure of drummer Brad Harbidge, Ben and Clay continued to write and record songs together, functioning as an acoustic duo. In the summer of 1999, the addition of drummer Steve Molinari enabled the duo to flesh out their arrangements. The band is now gigging around the San Francisco Bay Area. |
