Artist description
Drakmyth creates alternate realities through soothing, melodic dream techno and pulsing, throbbing trance. The sixteen year old resident of Waterloo, Ontario only recently discoved the joy of techno compostion, but has been seeking such an outlet for his creativity for years. Drakmyth has an innate ability to create intertwining melodies and harmonies that truly last as enjoyable music, not pop-trash. Drakmyth's motivation is to develop his own musical style, one different from any other artist. While this alternate path may not lead to riches, the satisfaction of producing quality trance and dream far surpasses the joy that money can bring. |

Artist History
Drakmyth was incarnated in Q1 1999, but I really began composing unofficially in September of '98. Initially releasing a few basic MP3s for friends and for parties with a software tracker program, I have now moved on to techno and trance for a global audience. From the incredible reaction to my software-based pieces (the best of which are available via download), I decided to move on and purchase a genuine hardware synth. The synth (Roland JX-305 Groovesynth) arrived for Christmas 1999, and several months were occupied in learning its features. Song production is currently under way |
