Artist History The boys started out renting rooms at the Motel 6 so we could jam. Once the cops came and busted us we had to play at the local tavern on open mic night. Now that we have climbed to pop obscurity we have formulated a plan. The name of the band was inherited from an old man on a bar stool. He gave us a rune stone and told us we had inherited the name 'the boys from nowhere'. He said it was his obligation to pass the name on to someone who was more lost than he was and he seemed to think that we were qualified. We liked the name so we kept it. Figby has stolen a bus and has compulsions to drive the band into the ocean. This is because his brother's band (The Suicidal Symphony) drove over a cliff into the ocean and now he is trying to attain some sort of catharsis by also driving all of us into the ocean. Last time he was released from KPH (the nut house) he has been more dedicated so we may not be around for long. However, we like the band so we take our chances. To top it all the dirigible man says that he is stuck in a loop, similar to Bill Murray on 'GroundHog day'. He says he is stuck in this loop and can't get out without the help of a man names Edwin maximus Carvin. Group Members rudeman plays the acoustic guitar and sings, figby plays the electric and sings, the dirigible man plays the bass and spifkin bangs on the skins.
