Artist description
It seems somehow fitting that a band, whose name stirs up images of stewardesses in blue acting out various life saving techniques, could very well be at the forefront of East Coast non-traditional rock, combining ambient and orchestral sounds to create the intense and passionate moods for which they are now pseudo-famous. In-flight Safety has dug up some vintage records and gear to arrive at their current sound. In a space where the dreamy guitars and keyboards of the Cure meet up with both plaintive and passionate vocals, reminiscent of early Smashing Pumpkins or modern-day Coldplay, this PEI-NB five piece have found a niche. |
