Artist description The Austrian Rock band "Cock The Gun", coming from a small Upper Austrian town called Wels, are one of the few local bands who do not imitate their idols (except for some songs at live gigs), but who write their own songs. Their music can be classified as Rock, mixed with some experimental elements that also sometimes show slight tendencies towards Pop. Their affection for being experimental is proven best when one listens to the second track on their debut album "Psycho Cowboy", named "Tango", as the song actually keeps what its title promises. The band with the "strong-voiced" Kathi was founded in 1998 and has had several gigs since then, all of which the best one was as support for the British psychodelic Rock Band "The The" at the Planet Music in Vienna. Their lyrics are in English and German depending on the "message" to be conveyed. All in all Cock The Gun are a very interesting band who will make its way and that's a fact!
